Strangler fig is a species of tropical rainforest tree that starts off as a seed deposited on a branch of a host tree. Growing as an epiphyte, the fig will eventually and completely enclose its host. At this point, the host tree will succumb and rot away, leaving an intricate woody form behind. What remains is then fashioned into our unique Thrones.
