We have been growing biennials in our gardens for years and have had wonderful results. Many biennials fulfill a need in a particular season or complete a design component to make a garden more remarkable. Characteristically, biennials will have a rosette of foliage their first year and then bloom with abandon the second. We are providing plants started in late summer / fall of the previous year to ensure large flowering plants to be used in garden beds and containers. We are also including here some short-lived perennials that can be treated as biennials or annuals. Some biennials will occasionally reseed around the garden providing years of structurally beautiful plants.
