Dear Gardening Friends, We are pleased to offer you our new catalogue for 2008. There are many new and interesting plants added to each of the categories. New plants are noted in the main part of the catalogue with the NEW emblem as well as listed in the beginning; there is also a common name index in the back. As always we have selected plant material with multiple qualities, not just for blossoms alone, but also for their ability to add structure, foliage color and interesting textures.

This year we are continuing and expanding our Clay Curiosities collection, offering the unusual in decorative clay containers. These plants along with our extended topiary offerings are available all year long especially around the holidays.

We encourage you to browse our website which has been updated with new pictures and information for 2008 www.landcraftenvironments.com it’s a great tool for accessing plant images for ordering and referencing. 2007 was a banner year for us; the new growing areas have worked out nicely and shipping has been streamlined. We will be adding to the outdoor growing areas this year again, the need for additional hardening off space for spring crops and for room to grow more fall material has necessitated their enlargement.

Landcraft’s plants and gardens will be featured in a few magazines and TV shows again this year. We worked with Martha Stewart Living, Fine Gardening, Garden Design and Gardens Illustrated. We also worked with Seibert & Rice staging and photographing their beautiful containers in our gardens. There is a link to the website.

Dennis’ book ‘Hot Plants for Cool Climates’ is still in print and remains a great reference, information guide and selling tool, it is available in bulk directly from Timber press or Landcraft. We also have a supply here at a discounted rate for individual sales as well. Dennis’ new book ‘Extraordinary Leaves’ with noted photographer Stephen Green-Armytage, published by Firefly Books will be out in September of this year.
