Dear Gardening Friends,
We are pleased to offer you our new catalogue for 2009. There are many new and interesting plants added to each of the categories. New plants are noted in the main part of the catalogue with the NEW emblem as well as listed on page 5. There is also a common name index in the back to help locate plants within the catalogue. As always we have selected new plant material with multiple qualities, not just for blossoms alone, but also for their ability to add structure, foliage color and interesting textures. We have extended our clay pot topiary offerings and they are available all year long especially around the holidays (call for current availability).
We encourage you to browse our website www.landcraftenvironments.com which is periodically updated throughout the season with new pictures and information; it’s a great tool for accessing images and referencing our plants. We also have an order form posted in Excel format for ease of ordering. Current availability is up dated through out the season. The website is available to anyone for viewing and gathering information but for pricing and ordering you will need the user name and password which are wholesale and plants20.
2008 was another banner year for us; the new outdoor growing areas have worked out nicely. The need for additional hardening off space for spring crops as well as extra room to grow fall material has necessitated their enlargement. We are hoping 2009 will be a strong season as well considering the economic environment, we are planning on producing the same quantities as 2008 and to date spring orders are coming in and sales are looking good.
Landcraft’s plants and gardens will be featured in a few magazines and TV shows again this year. Dennis’ book ‘Hot Plants for Cool Climates’ is still in print and remains a great reference, information guide and selling tool, Dennis’ new book ‘Extraordinary Leaves’ with noted photographer Stephen Green-Armytage, published by Firefly Books came out in September of 2008. Both books are available at a bulk discounted rate directly from the publishers or from us here at the nursery. Amazon and Barns & Noble are also good resources for acquiring the books.
Thank you for your continued patronage, support, and enthusiasm. We look forward to supplying you with beautiful, unusual, quality grown plants.
Dennis, Bill and the staff at Landcraft
